Circuit Design Problem

Question: Describe about the Circuit Design Problem? Answer: Circuit Diagram: The circuit has been designed with the given requirements. Description: Given, Av = -3.0 Now, Av = Vout/Vin = - R3/R2 = -3.0 Rin = R2 = 1k Therefore, R3 = 3k Compensation capacitor, R1 = R2 || R3 = 0.75 k Since all these values are available (they are standard resistor values), we dont have to take approximations or use resistor combinations. Now, fc = 1/(2RC) Given, fc = 3.3 kHz Substituting the resistor value of R2 (as it is the part of the first order low pass filter), the value of C = 48.25 nF. As 0.048F is a standard capacitance value, it can be used. The voltage supply considerations has been considered, as +15V and -15V are the standard Vcc for TL081, manufactured by Texas Instruments. The offset is the circuit has been addressed by using a capacitor, and forming a low pass filter. It could have also been addressed by using a potentiometer (variable resistance) at R3, and tuning it. To address the input biased current, the compensator resistance R1 is added, which is R2 || R3. The source used to obtain the standard resistor and capacitor values has been mentioned in the reference section. References Datasheet of TL081. Texas Instruments.
